Free Bruce Lee Display At Hong Kong Heritage Museum To End On December 4, A Month Earlier Than Planned

The Bruce Lee: A Timeless Classic pop-up display at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum will end on December 4, 2023 — one month earlier than its planned end date of January 1, 2024. The free-to-view display has been at the museum since July 12.

Some of the highlights of the display include a commemorative calendar card for the 1973 premiere of the film The Way of the Dragon, publications about Lee’s Jeet Kune Do and his films, the actor’s memorial photo album, a life-size bust of Lee, and a ‘Bruce Lee’s Legacy in the World of Martial Arts’ presentation pack.

The display was part of a series of events to mark the 50th anniversary of Lee’s passing. The museum is also hosting ‘A Man Beyond The Ordinary: Bruce Lee’, an exhibition that features around 400 exhibits, including Bruce Lee memorabilia and photos, a large-scale immersive light and sensory installation and other interactive programmes.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the first anime series dedicated to Lee will get a 2024 release. The series, titled House of Lee, will premiere on Web3 video platform Shibuya.
