Spanish motorcyclist Carles Falcon has died aged 45 from injuries he suffered last week on the second stage of the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia.

”He left us doing something that was his dream,” the TwinTrail Racing Team said.
The stage was almost complete on January 7 when Falcon crashed. He was flown to a hospital and later to Spain, where he had been in intensive care for cerebral edema and fractured vertebrae.
