Six years just a blip in CKI story

One thousand members of more than 20 CK Infrastructure companies from around the world sought to make up for lost time for what should have been the biennial international family day.

The latest one should have been held in Hong Kong in 2019 in the wake of the third edition in 2017, but we all know what got in the way of that and lots of other people’s plans. But 1,200 representatives from the mainland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Canada in addition to Hong Kong staff and their families finally made it.

Chairman Victor Li Tzar-kai noted at the opening ceremony after a lapse of six years that the group now has a global workforce of about 30,000 employees with diverse cultural backgrounds, experience and expertise.

Family Day featured a variety of competitions, including a tug-o’-war and dance competitions, which enabled teams to show off their strengths and skills while enhancing the world-wide team spirit.
