Clockenflap Headliner Joji Cancels Hong Kong Performance Due To Health Reasons

Japanese singer-songwriter Joji, who was supposed to close out the forthcoming edition of Clockenflap on December 3, will not perform at the festival due to ill health. In an Instagram story posted on Wednesday morning, Joji revealed that he has cancelled his shows in Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong, but promised to return to these cities in the future.

Joji’s Clockenflap appearance was supposed to round off his Pandemonium World Tour, which he kick-started in September this year. He was also supposed to take the stage in Kuala Lumpur on November 30 and Singapore on December 2 before heading to Hong Kong. Clockenflap organisers have said that they will try to find a headliner to take over Joji’s Sunday gig.

The upcoming edition of Clockenflap will be the second of 2023, and will take place from December 1-3 at Central Harbourfront. The other headliners for the three-day event are J-pop superduo Yoasobi and Britpop legends PULP. There will be more than 90 artists who will perform at the festival across six stages. There will also be an arts programme, family-friendly activities, and a wide variety of F&B options for festival-goers.
