Low-cost airline HK Express is selling one-way economy tickets priced as low as HK$10 to five Asian cities to celebrate its 10-year anniversary. The budget carrier will sell tickets to Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Vietnam on October 30 only, as part of a three-day flash sale.
Travellers can book tickets to Okinawa, Taipei, Manila, Nha Trang, and Manila until 11.59pm on October 30. The fares do not include check-in baggage, but passengers can get HK$80 off for 20kg of baggage allowance. Passengers will also have to pay any applicable taxes, surcharges, fees. The tickets must only be booked on the airline’s website, not on the app.
The tickets can only be used for travel on specific dates:

HK Express kick-started its anniversary celebrations on October 28, when it sold one-way tickets to Fukuoka, Phuket, Jeju, and Ningbo for as little as HK$10. The next day, the airline sold tickets for as low as HK$110 to Tokyo (Haneda), Nagoya, Bangkok, Seoul, and Da Nang. In all, the carrier is selling 10,000 tickets to 15 destinations on its network during the three-day flash sale.
Earlier this year, HK Express took part in the government-backed Hello Hong Kong campaign in which 500,000 free round-trip airline tickets were given away to tourists to visit the SAR. Residents of the city also won more than 21,000 tickets to 19 destinations in five Asian countries.
