Hong Kong star actress Charmaine Sheh Sze-man was surrounded by customers after she was spotted shopping at a Shenzhen supermarket on Saturday night.
Sheh, 48, was in a white suit jacket and white dress and filming at the Sam’s Club supermarket in Longhua District in Shenzhen. Posts on mainland social media Xiaohongshu, had Sheh spotted wearing a microphone and was accompanied by a cameraman while smiling and waving to fans.
People expressed their envy online, while some felt pity they could not meet her and felt bad as Sheh held her smile despite being surrounded by the crowd.
One fan said: “It was crazy! I was having dinner next to the supermarket, only 300 meters away when I found out on social media.”
Sheh joined the broadcasting industry after winning second runner-up in the 1997 Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant. As a two-time winner of the TVB Anniversary Award for Best Actress, Sheh has impressed audiences with her performance in a recent TVB drama The Queen of News as an ambitious TV news anchor.
