The 11 blocks totalling around 7,400 flats will be redeveloped in phases, sources told local media. Details would be made public after the newly-restricted District Council election is held in December, according to Ming Pao.

The Instagram hotspot, sitting beneath the iconic Lion Rock, is one of the largest public housing estates in the city. Its redevelopment would add to the 10 such projects currently underway, Ming Pao reported on Monday citing sources.
