In honor of the 2023 International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which falls on Sunday, the Citybus will be offering free rides to people with disabilities and their caregivers.
The bus operator will be among 10 public transport operators offering free rides, including MTR, Kowloon Motor Bus, and Long Win Bus, as well as ferries and trams.
By presenting a registration card for people with disabilities, or using a personalized Octopus card with Persons with Disabilities Status, passengers along with their caregivers will be able to ride free on all Citybus routes.
”By supporting the free ride day of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we hope to further promote the concept of Transport for All to encourage citizens to use public transport services for travel while assisting people with disabilities to integrate into the community,” the bus company said.
