Ex-US sec. of state Henry Kissinger dead at 100

Former US secretary of state Henry Kissinger, a key figure of American diplomacy in the post-World War II era, died Wednesday at the age of 100, his association said.

“Dr. Henry Kissinger, a respected American scholar and statesman, died today at his home in Connecticut,” Kissinger Associates announced in a statement late Wednesday.
