A blessing card from teachers and children at a Tsuen Wan kindergarten he visited clearly moved Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu.
In turn, Lee thanked the staff and pupils at Fuk Loy Chuen Kam Chuen Kindergarten on his Facebook page yesterday. “I was glad to receive the cute card drawn by the children and teachers at the kindergarten,” he wrote, “and greetings on the card are heartwarming.”
Those greetings included “wish you good health” and “wish you all the best in your work,” which could be seen on a photo of the card along with cartoon images of two adults and 10 children.
”I was impressed by the active and lively children and encouraged them to study hard,” Lee added.
Lee interacted with the children during his visit to Tsuen Wan last month as part of a public consultation for his policy address on October 25, which will be his second.
He also visited families with elderly members and centers that provide services for seniors and the disabled.
