The government will open 28 heated pools during from November 2023-March 2024 so that Hongkongers can use swimming facilities during winter. The pools are located across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories, and the Islands district.
The Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department runs 45 public pools across the territory. Here are the locations of the government-run heated swimming pools that will be open this winter:

The Tai Wan Shan Swimming Pool, which is not a heated pool, will be open every day between 6.30am-12pm from November 1-30 this year. Certain pools will also be temporarily closed for maintenance work.
Hongkongers can use the city’s public swimming pools for a nominal charge of HK$17 (weekdays) and HK$19 (weekends) for adults, and HK$8 (weekdays) and HK$9 (weekends) for children and senior citizens. The government also issues monthly pool passes priced at HK$300.
In addition, there will be lifeguards at only 10 Hong Kong beaches during winter, between 8am and 5pm, and none at the remaining 29 public beaches that will be open from November 1, 2023-March 31, 2024.
