Worker killed by falling concrete slab

A worker died on Thursday after a concrete slab fell on him at a construction site in Hung Shui Kiu.

The accident happened at around noon on Hung Ping Road.

The slab reportedly measured one metre by two metres.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 25-storey residential block is being built at the site for the Housing Society.

The Labour Department said it was investigating the accident.
